A SPOOKY SANDS RESORTS GETAWAY

The spookiest season is just around the corner, and you won’t want to miss out on all your hallows eve favorites! Vacationing during Hallo-weekend, the weekend before Halloween, can mean your kids won’t get to experience all the incredibly spooky activities in store. But fear not! At Sands Resorts everyone will get a scare and maybe a treat or two when you stay with us, at one of our fantastic Myrtle Beach South Carolina resorts, this Halloween Season. Here are a few of our favorite activities to get you in the mood, when things start to go, bump in the night…

Boardwalk Haunts

If you’re looking for the scariest things to do in Myrtle Beach during these last few weeks of October, look no further than the Boardwalk! Friday nights on the walkway… mean the zombies come out of their graves. Enjoy a sweet photo-op with these un-dead as you roam around, then make sure to check out the Haunted House this year featuring a Zombie Zone for the undead! From dusk to Midnight experience a frightful night here in South Carolina. We recommend it’s not the best choice for the littlest ghouls or those few adults who might find it too scary, but there are plenty of non-scary Halloween adventures to embark on this season. Check out more Grand Strand Halloween fun at Ripley’s Believe It Or Not, and the Hollywood Wax Museum.

Vroom to Broom

Witches aren’t the only ones who need a stick to drive! At the Surfside Halloween Car Show, experience some fabulous stick-shifts and automatics this season. With lots of candy to keep the little ones busy, adults will enjoy the impressive vehicles. Your kids will love Trunk or Treating in some fantastic classic and modern cars. Plus, lots of delicious food, a fun DJ to groove too, and it’s free for the whole family! Learn more about the details here!

The Headless Horseman

Most of us have heard about the headless horseman who roams the night waiting for his next victim. But if you’re ever in Myrtle Beach during this time of the year, you’ll want to head to The Market Commons. Hop aboard a Haunted Carriage ride around The Market Commons on Halloween, if you dare! Your little ones will enjoy trick or treating and seeing the headless coachman as he returns to give passengers a tour this Halloween.

No matter how you choose to spend your last days in October make sure, you enjoy them beachside at one of our fabulous Myrtle Beach South Carolina resorts! Whether you’re looking for a fright, something the youngest members of the family will enjoy, or just wanting to relax on the beach, our Sands Resorts are a perfect option no matter the weather this harvest season. Book your vacation and start planning the ultimate Halloween getaway the whole family will die for!
