Kids Club For Me!
Let’s face it, as much as we love our kids, vacationing with young ones can end up being less of a rest for the adults and more of an exhaustive, never-ending search for something for the little ones to do, every minute, of every day.
Just as you get settled in your beach chair, feet in the sand, cold beverage in hand, eyes closed in homage to the sound of ocean waves and the tan to come, the dreaded “I’m bored” whine will sack the day’s plan of sand and sun as you scramble to find another activity suitable for the kiddies.
Well, Sands Resorts has come up with a brilliant solution for both pre-teens and parents alike: Sands Kids Club.
All summer long, six-days-a-week, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., your 5 to 12 year-old can participate in a different fun and kid-friendly activity every hour. In one day, they can be on a Wii team, create arts and crafts, get in on ‘splashtastic’ pool games, lap-it-up at an ice cream party and cheer on their favorite quacker in a lazy river duck race – all under the responsible supervision of group counselors.
The Kids Club fun-meisters change up the program daily, so children can enroll multiple days of the week and always have something different to do.
Better yet, almost all the events are free to Sand Dunes guests.
Looking for some evening me-time devoted to serious shopping or a quiet dinner? The Kids Club has you covered! Two nights a week, children can join the club from 6-10 p.m. for some off-site fun like a jungle safari or night at a waterpark.
So, have your lazy day in the sun, your shopping spree and your intimate dinner for two without any guilt or having to hear boredom ring!

Need To Know Info
You can register for the Sands Kids Club each morning during activity information time from 9:00-10:00am. Activities will take place in the Palmetto Room in Ocean Dunes. Ask the new Sands Activities Desk, which is located in the lobby, for more details. Parents have to sign a permission slip for you to have fun with us!
Sands Kids Club is very popular! Our events fill up fast so make sure you sign as soon as possible in the morning.
All the fun things we do are right at the hotel. But remember, Sands Kids Club is only for kids 5-12! Sands Kids staying at Ocean Forest Plaza or Ocean Forest Villas will enjoy activities at Ocean Dunes/Sand Dunes Resort & Villas.
To make sure we all have fun together, we need to know who is in Sands Kids Club. So to join us for any fun, you have to wear your Sandy SeaGull T-Shirt.
Don’t be late! We can’t wait for you to start having fun so we will start on time!
Rain is no fun on the beach. But have no fear. We’ll have lots of inside fun!
Sands Lil’ Kids Evening Childcare Program
(Ages 3-10 – Tuesdays & Thursdays 6-10 p.m., Wednesday 6-9 p.m.)

Nightly Themes
Tuesday: “Under the Sea”
Swim with the fish and ride the waves! Take a dip under the sea for games, trivia, crafts, prizes, and so much more!!!
($10 per child, ages 3-10)
Wednesday: “Wild Waterpark”
The Sands Waterpark is as fun at night as it is during the day! With fantastic pool games and slippery water slides, this night is one of the best Lil’ kid’s nights!
Thursday: “Out in Space”
Become an astronaut. Many adventures await, as we embark on a journey into outer space. Put on your helmets and space boots and join us for prizes, fun, games, and trivia!
($10 per child, ages 3-10)
Kids Eat Breakfast FREE at Sands!
Are you 12 or under? If so, you get to eat free breakfast at any of our Sands restaurants. (Two kids per paying adult)
Are you under 18? If so, you get to stay FREE with your parents at any of our Sands Resorts!
