MYRTLE BEACH'S SANDS RESORTS AND S.C. JAYCEES MAKE FINAL PLANS FOR SECOND ANNUAL “SPIRIT OF CHRISTMAS SANDS” BENEFIT FOR SPECIAL FAMILIES IN NEED

South Carolina's Premier Destination For Beach And Golf Vacations once again Embraces The True Meaning Of Christmas By Giving Back To Carolina Residents.

 November 16, 2009, Myrtle Beach, S.C.

— Sands Resorts, a collection of six oceanfront resorts in Myrtle Beach, is joining together for a second year with North and South Carolina Jaycees to sponsor the “Spirit of Christmas Sands”. On the weekend of December 11^th, Sands Resorts will play host to South Carolina families from Columbia, Chapin, Williamston, Johns Island, as well as a family from Winston-Salem, North Carolina. The families and their Jaycee escorts will be treated to oceanfront lodging, meals, tickets to Myrtle Beach-area Christmas shows and much more. The highlight of the weekend will be a December 12^th gala featuring a traditional holiday dinner, Santa, Sands mascots, a decorated Christmas tree and presents for each family, local choir entertainment, and dancing with Santa Claus. There is an extensive guest list ranging from donor to local dignitaries who have helped support the effort.

The second annual “Spirit of Christmas Sands” was held December11-13. It was once again a celebration not to be forgotten. The families and their Jaycee escorts was treated to oceanfront lodging, meals, tickets to Myrtle Beach’s Christmas shows, and much more! Festivities concluded with a Gala featuring a traditional Christmas Dinner; Santa, his Sands “elves” and Sands mascots; a decorated Christmas tree for each family along with Christmas gifts, entertainment, and dancing with Santa Claus!
